Generative art is a revolutionary computational method of creating artwork, models, and animations from rules or algorithms. By using accessible programming languages like Processing, artists and designers are producing geometrical and topological structures that form the basis for everything from patterned textiles and typography to lighting, scientific diagrams, sculptures, art installations, films, and even fantastical buildings. The students came to this exciting emerging field during the 4 weeks of the summer school.

Students shared their own artwork, code, and techniques in the workshop.
