GENERATIVE RESIDENCE 2017

Architectural generative design inherits and expands traditional design methods, leading architects to seek new ways of creation, fully demonstrating advancement and upgrade of technology, which is an innovation of ideas and means.

The undergraduate design studio requires students to master the basic methods of programming and related mathematics knowledge, and explore the algorithmic implementation mechanism of generative design through the experiments that combines algorithm research and program implementation. In this way, students understand the key technology of algorithmic rules in the conversion of architectural issues, reasonably propose architectural issues which are suitable for rules of program operation, and realize the transformation of thinking characteristics and operation methods from CAAd(drawing) to CAAD(Design).

Establish the prototype of architecture on the basis of the existing program modules; master the basic knowledge of the program structure and the basic methods of generative design, and sensitively explore the program implementation mechanism of architectural design.

PIXEL VILLAGE:吴佳倩,张增鑫

将基地像素化,利用多智能体代理进行推演优化,同时通过设定规则进行宏观控制。智能体在运动过程中会留下信息素,具有向高浓度信息素区域运动的特性,能够避让障碍物。经过一段时间的程序运行,对基地中的智能体行为进行统计,记录智能体在基地上的高频活动点并采用最短路径的连接获得交通路网,同时生成建筑模块。建立户型库与模块尺寸的映射关系,生成建筑单体。

枕河人家:邵舒怡,黄郁宇

采用张力描述地块边界的小球相互挤压,对基地进行水路剖分并计算生成连桥。通过对苏州沿河区域建筑肌理的提取,总结建筑类型与位置的对应关系。例如沿河道建筑与街道平行排布,建筑的常见尺寸与形式,通过对建筑布局规则的总结进行直接程序建模和几何形式的优化,使结果趋近于参考案例的一般规律。

水岸山居:郑悦,简海睿,付立军

优先生成道路,通过输入入口,对地块进行等距划分并连接等分点,依据地形生成相应的路网,在路网形成的基础之上,再依据道路方向进行建筑布局。最终将户型库代入,通过旋转、镜像等方式适应地块布局。

小而无限的树林:朱家乐,赵文锐

建立连续模型,对多层级的voronoi划分结果进行优化。通过边之间夹角的优化和调整合并小地块,使划分结果在符合地形的情况下更加规整。利用多边形表示建筑地块,记录每个多边形的顶点并随机移动,根据整体评价优劣决定其是否保留,多边形之间的竞争关系导致平面划分最终达到平衡状态,获得较为合理的划分结果。设定多边形地块中的条状建筑布局规则和层高规则,生成多层住宅方案。

FALLING BLOCKS:施旗,敖颖雪

方案主要针对高层住宅规划布局中的日照问题。以参数化的方法探讨以日照标准为约束条件的高层住区自动生成方法。确定住栋单元,通过日照条件控制优先生成建筑,以容积率最大化为优化目标。基于建筑生成道路系统完成住栋间的连接。
